Who can receive funding?
- local authorities, their unions and associations
- institutions established by the state or a local authority for providing public services – i.a. medical facilities, educational and cultural institutions, police and fire departments, nature parks
- organisations promoting sustainable development, innovation and entrepreneurship.
What projects are welcome?
- protection and promotion of cross-border natural and cultural heritage (creating tourist trails and promotion of precious nature spots),
- development of cross-border products and services for the tourism sector,
- improvement of cross-border mobility and accessibility (i.a. improving public transport and road infrastructure),
- cross-border cooperation of public services, investments in health and social infrastructure,
- cross-border educational and language learning exchange programmes,
- enhancement of opportunities for the cross-border labour market,
- improvement of cross-border security – (building cross-border systems monitoring environmental risks, closer cooperation of emergency services.),
- cross-border cooperation of public institutions, local communities and non-governmental organizations.
